Earth Day Citywide Clean-up and Environmental Fair

Friends! Our annual earth day clean-up and environmental fair is coming up soon!

We’re looking for volunteers to help clean-up garbage and plant trees at sites across Beacon. Grab a friend and join your community for one of our favorite events of the year! After the city clean-up stop by the brewery to learn more about the many organization working for our environment.

Film Synopsis:

When a beautiful first-grade teacher (Olivia Williams) arrives at a prep school, she soon attracts the attention of an ambitious teenager named Max (Jason Schwartzman), who quickly falls in love with her. In Steven Spielberg's massive blockbuster, paleontologists Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) and mathematician Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) are among a select group chosen to tour an island theme park populated by dinosaurs created from prehistoric DNA. Celebrate our 9th Anniversary with us!
Saturday, April 11 // 1pm - 6pm

Nine is an extraordinarily auspicious number. Being the last of the single digits before the cycle resets to Ten, it often represents themes of culmination and fulfilment, and certainly we see that idea reflected in the stories we tell ourselves, in folklore and mythologies all around the world and through time, going all the the way back to wherever the beginning happens to be – if there was one!

In Tarot, the Nine Of Cups is referred to as the “wish card’ and is a symbol of contentment and celebration. It offers a moment of rest and reflection, an opportunity to look back at how far you’ve come on the journey, express gratitude for what you have, and integrate those lessons into your life as you begin to plan for the future – and we intend to do just that!

@OysterParty will be here serving up some delicious lobster rolls and fresh oysters. DJ’s @briansears, @cl_Healy and @djnorules will be spinning records all day.

Please join us this Friday , October 24th for our annual gathering of lager beer enthusiasts!

Featuring a collection of Lager Beers we’ve brewed over the last year in collaboration with many of our friends, along with some everlasting favorites.

Lager takeover begins at noon, stop in for lunch or come after work and help @john_anthony keep the bonfire going 🔥

One Hand Clapping - Brewed in collaboration with @otherhalfnyc - Botanical Lager conditioned on Rose petals and hips, hopped with Motueka Cryo.

Terrarium - Brewed in collaboration with @proletariatny and @thirdkingdomnyc - Brett Farmhouse Lager co-fermented with organic Lion’s Mane, Shiitake, and Oyster Mushrooms from @sugarshackmushrooms in New Paltz.

Lineage - Brewed in collaboration with @hawksmoornyc - Pilsner dry-hopped with Citra and finished with a touch of Maldon sea salt.

Incantations - Brewed in collaboration with @yesfolk - Black Lager conditioned on Hojicha Japanese green tea.

Willow Blade - Brewed in collaboration with @itotribeca - Japanese-style Lager with sushi rice and wildflower honey.

As well as Enjoyer, and our beloved couplet of Feel No Way and Say No More.

The 13th Annual Catoberfest will take place on Sunday, Sept 21, 2025 at Hudson Valley Brewery. from 3 pm to 7 pm. Come enjoy the fall feline celebration of food, refreshments, and music to help support Mid Hudson Animal Aid (MHAA), a no-kill, free-range cat sanctuary in Beacon, NY. Earth Day Celebration & Clean Up

In celebration of Earth Day, join forces with your community to clean-up sites in Beacon! On Saturday April 26, 2025 from 9am-12pm, volunteer with your neighbors to pick-up trash, rejuvenate pollinator garden sites, remove invasive species and plant seedlings all over our community!

Register to for a clean-up site now and join our efforts!

After the clean-up, head over to Hudson Valley Brewery for the annual Earth Day block party from 12pm -3pm. Join in conversation with the many local grassroots organizations that will be in attendance to learn more about the incredible work they are doing throughout our community!

Each clean-up participant will receive one free drink ticket to redeem at Hudson Valley Brewery.

Glywood's Home Bakers Meetup 2025

Presented by Glynwood. The annual Home Bakers Meetup is an opportunity to connect with fellow bread nerds, swap tips and share the love of good bread.

Get Tickets

Bakers of all experience levels from professionals to novice beginners, are welcome to bring their creations, swap samples with fellow local grain and flour enthusiasts, share stories and tips, and sample beers from the award-winning Hudson Valley Brewery.

There will be several bread professionals on hand to talk techniques, along with some special guests and vendors. The Meetup is a space for participants to share their favorite homemade bread or other baked good with fellow enthusiasts. Feel free to bring along a sourdough starter to trade and a recipe if you are so inspired.

Cutting boards, bread knives, and fillable cards will be provided to display your baked goods and to tell us about your favorite flours and featured ingredients.

Not a baker but love being around a bunch of bread nerds in a bar featuring New York State beer? Come on down and enjoy tastings. All are welcome!
