bar back / Service Team member (P/T, seasonal)

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Bar Back to join our team at Hudson Valley Brewery. As a Bar Back, you will play a crucial role in supporting our bartenders and ensuring that our busy tasting room runs smoothly. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, so the ability to stay on your feet and handle multiple tasks is essential.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Collecting and washing glassware to ensure the bar area is well-stocked

  • Reseting chairs and cleaning tables between customers

  • Cleaning bathrooms, mopping floors, managing waste collection and disposal and maintaining the overall cleanliness of our tasting room and outdoor seating areas

  • Assisting with changing kegs, restocking supplies, and maintaining inventory

  • Assisting bartenders with all opening and closing duties

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed

  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent movement

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized space

  • A positive attitude and willingness to be a team player

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required
