Cellar Worker (F/T, Hourly)
The Cellar Worker at Hudson Valley Brewery is responsible for a wide variety of tasks in the cellar, the brewhouse, and at our wild fermentation facility. This role works closely with the Head Brewer and Packaging Manager in the production and packaging of all beer at Hudson Valley, primarily through cellar work, tank cleaning, beer transfers, packaging support, lab testing, and equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities:
CIP tanks and equipment: Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of all tanks in the cellar, as well as any equipment used in the production of beer.
Perform beer transfers: Includes crashing tanks, racking fermenters to brite tanks, carbonating beer, and otherwise assisting in the production process.
Maintain quality control: Measure gravity and pH, help determine when beers are ready for packaging, perform PCR lab testing, and conduct dissolved oxygen testing using an Anton Paar cBox, among other tasks.
Assist in packaging operations: Work on the canning line, palletize cases of beer, wash and fill kegs, assist with bottling, and wax and label bottles.
Perform routine equipment maintenance: Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on brewhouse, cellar, and packaging equipment.
Maintain production records: Log transfers, measurements, lab tests, and other production data in the brewery’s software and review this information with the brewing team on a weekly basis.
Maintain a clean and organized brewery environment, including general cleaning of the cellar, brewhouse, and packaging areas as needed.
Represent the brewery when needed: Occasionally assist with events, festivals, or other brewery related functions outside of standard production hours.
Qualifications & Qualities
Preferred: 2 years experience working in a production brewery.
Ability to lift or carry up to 60 pounds.
Willing and eager to learn about our products and process.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment.
A positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
Attention to detail while completing tasks.
Self-motivated and proactive, capable and responisible for completing task assigned to you.
Takes pride in maintaining clean, organized workspaces throughout the brewery.

Compensation: $22-$25/hr depending on experience.
Kitchen Staff (P/T, F/T, Hourly)
Hudson Valley Brewery is seeking reliable and hardworking kitchen staff to join our team. We are looking for individuals with prior kitchen experience who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality food to our guests.
Responsibilities:
Working the line during service to ensure timely and consistent food preparation
Assisting with food prep, including knife work, portioning, and cooking ingredients
Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, tools, and workstations
Washing dishes and ensuring the kitchen stays clean and organized
Following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assisting with inventory management and stocking supplies as needed
Supporting overall kitchen operations to maintain efficiency during busy shifts
Qualifications & Qualities:
Prior kitchen experience required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume service
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 60lbs
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
Compensation: $22 -$25/hr
BAR BACK (P/T, Seasonal)
Responsibilities:
Collecting and washing glassware to ensure the bar area is well-stocked
Resetting chairs and cleaning tables between customers.
Bussing tables to maintain an efficient service flow.
Clearing bathrooms, mopping floors, managing waste collection and disposal, and maintaining overall cleanliness of our tasting room and outdoor seating areas.
Assisting with changing kegs, restocking supplies, and maintaining inventory.
Assisting bartenders with all opening and closing duties.
Performing warehouse duties, including order fulfillment through our shipping program.
Managing inventory and organization of merchandise.
Qualifications & Qualities:
Ability to lift or carry up to 60 pounds/ walking for extended periods
Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed
Willing and eager to learn about our products and process
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail
Must have reliable transportation
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized space

Compensation: $18-$20/hr (plus tips)
