Front of House Team Member / Service Team member (P/T)

We’re looking to grow our Front of House team as we expand our service hours and add additional areas of service at Hudson Valley Brewery in Beacon, NY. Applicants should be patient, attentive and curious about our process and the products we make. While training will be provided, we are looking for someone that is eager and willing to learn all aspects about our products and can clearly communicate that understanding with our customers, guests and visitors.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Availability to work nights and weekends.

  • Clear communication skills.

  • Ability to lift and maneuver full kegs and cases of beer.

  • Previous service experience preferred.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Correct handling of cash and card transactions.

  • The safe and responsible service of alcohol.

  • Maintaining a clean workspace and during service.

  • Educating customers on HVB products and processes, both past and present.

  • Processing transactions for merchandise and to-go beer.

  • Communication with management and other servers about product inventory.

  • Daily cleaning and organization duties at opening/closing.
