Beacon's Clean Power Initiative

One of the most important things to us as a brewery is sustainability in all aspects. We are proud to be a part of the City of Beacon’s Clean Power Initiative, which allows 100% of our electric usage to come from renewable energy.

We strive to use as many local ingredients as possible in our brewing process to contribute to the growth and success of our community. Once the brewing process is finished our spent grain is given to local farms to feed their livestock, and our used botanicals are composted.

While brewing we use a hot water reclaim system when cooling our beer to capture the heat exchange that occurs to transform it into energy.

The majority of team members we employ are residents of our local community allowing them to either walk, skateboard or ride their bikes to work.
