Our Favorite Spots: Emmett's on Grove

Name a better duo than pizza and beer. We’ll wait! Now, make it a Chicago-style thin crust pizza and a Feel No Way pilsner, and the competition is over.

New York City is famous for its pizza, but even when it’s not New York-style, it’s still top-tier. If you find yourself in the West Village, a spot you cannot miss is Emmett’s on Grove—where the crispy tavern-style pizza is the star of the show.

On our recent visit, we started off with some of their pigs in a blanket (because, obviously). We followed that up with a few pints of Feel No Way and their Sausage Oregano pizza, which was so incredible we debated ordering a second one– but we had to save room for dessert! On that note– we recommend wrapping up your meal with a vesper martini and a slice of key lime pie.
