Glimmer, our ongoing collaboration with Bread Alone

We're excited to share a re-imagined batch of one of our favorite collaborative beers: Glimmer! This lovely little late summer Botanical Pilsner is the latest iteration of an ongoing project with the folks at Bread Alone.

Bread Alone is a Hudson Valley staple, and their work in naturally fermented, organic, and sustainable baking continues to inspire us. For this batch of Glimmer, we chose to highlight caraway seeds, an essential element of many of Bread Alone's loaves of bread. We accented the darker, malty notes of the caraway seed - think fresh baked deli Rye bread - with lemon peel to create, what we think might be, the perfect beer for the change of seasons.

We've labeled this beer with recycled paper labels and use only recycled four-pack holder, an experiment in chipping away at the waste stream of our own production. We're inspired each time we work with the team at Bread Alone by their efforts in crafting and producing within a sustainable system. It’s always great reminder that we need to continue to our efforts in improving our own responsible industrial production practices.
