Lineage: Our collaboration with Hawksmoor

With Summer now upon us, we are pleased to release a new version of Lineage — our dry-hopped Pilsner brewed in collaboration with Hawksmoor in New York City.

Sunny and uplifting, this version of Lineage is brewed with Citra hops, along with the English classic East Kent Goldings — and finished with a touch of Maldon sea salt.

Although decidedly lighter than the original, Lineage is tailor-made to pair with Hawksmoor’s substantial cuisine — from their dry-aged and charcoal-grilled steaks, to their Cheeseburger with bone marrow and a side of Beef fat fries.

It also goes pretty well as a sidecar to their Ultimate Martini, which is without doubt the coldest and most delicious in NYC!

Hawksmoor is located in the historic United Charities Building, and displays a truly wondrous and grand atmosphere in the main dining room (known as The Assembly Hall) — with its nearly-30-foot vaulted ceilings, stained glass windows, and intricately designed molding around the archways — which had not been viewed by the public for nearly 100 years before the folks at Hawksmoor endeavored to restore it.

With the design of Lineage, we wanted to evoke a similar sense of wonder and reverence for things past, and the artwork done by Evan M Cohen is an expression of that.
