Blossom
Blossom 2020 is the second vintage of one of our most delicate and delicious botanical farmhouse ales. It was brewed exclusively with Hudson Valley sourced 6-row barley and red winter wheat and was fermented in oak for 18 months.
We blended Blossom just as the late summer crop of tangerine marigolds were ready for harvest in our garden up at our master brewer Mike’s house. We conditioned Blossom on the freshly picked flowers for 2 weeks, before bottling with local wildflower honey and conditioning for just over a year.
Blossom bursts with fresh citrus peel, and reminds us of kitchen herbs like tarragon, thyme, and marjoram, alongside a savory, mustard seed undertone.
