Too Much Fun: A Collaboration with Middle Child Clubhouse

Too Much Fun is the first collaboration between Hudson Valley Brewery and the esteemed sandwich shop, bar, and restaurant in Philadelphia, Middle Child Clubhouse. A few weeks back, the team from Middle Child paid us a visit, and together we experimented with botanicals in our Pilsner.

Middle Child, known for their inventive culinary creations, has crafted their own Amaro at the Clubhouse, aptly named "Funpari.” They’ll be serving Too Much Fun with the option of adding Funpari, like a culinary twist on the classic Spaghett Cocktail. This amaro brings an extra layer of character and personality to our Botanical Pilsner.

Adding the Tallie Farms-grown lemon verbena and some fresh lemon zest results in new depth and complexity to the crisp, hoppy profile of our lager beer.

In our case, we’ll be topping off your glass with Campari, a perfect companion to the botanical essence of Too Much Fun. It results in a dance between the herbal complexities of the pilsner and the bittersweet notes of the amaro.
