Coterie 2023: Riesling
Our journey with Shackbury Cider continues as we proudly introduce our third batch of Coterie!
For this batch of Coterie, we used Cider from wild Vermont apples, foraged and pressed by our friends at Shacksbury as part of their Lost Apple Project and a 2022 harvest Finger Lakes Riesling, all of which we fermented naturally. Last fall, after over a year in barrels, we blended these two special liquids together to create one of our favorite blends yet. To enhance Coterie's charm, we've also bottle conditioned it with locally sourced wildflower honey for a natural effervescence.
COTERIE 2023: RIESLING
(9%) Produced in collaboration with Shacksbury Cider, Coterie is a blend of wild fermented Cider and native yeast fermented Riesling wine, aged in oak for over a year.
